Bryan Barnes, a shareholder and board member of Rogers Townsend & Thomas, has been invited to join the International Association of Defense Counsel.

The Counsel is a professional association for the world’s leading corporate and insurance defense lawyers. Membership is by invitation only and limited to about 2,500 attorneys worldwide. Attorneys are nominated by current members and must be vetted by a panel of peers and approved by the counsel’s Board of Directors before they’re asked to join.

Barnes, who is part of RTT’s Litigation Department, defends product liability cases involving construction products across the United States. He has spoken often at continuing education seminars for lawyers and trade groups, and he has written about construction law topics for various publications.

He’s a graduate of Furman University, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and of the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Barnes’ practice focuses on construction litigation,products liability, and insurance defense.
