As the Marketing Vice-Chair and Young Lawyer Liaison for the DRI Construction Law Committee, I am looking forward to the 2019 Construction Law Seminar, which will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 10-12, 2019.

The Construction Law Committee has been hard at work putting together an incredibly dynamic array of speakers and programs spanning a broad range of topics of interest to construction law practitioners (of all levels of experience). From a ligation skills workshop, an in-depth discussion of the use of wearable technology in the construction industry, a timely and relevant program on how the construction industry is dealing with a changing world, and a discussion of emerging trends by the plaintiffs’ bar – there will be several programs of interest for attorneys of all levels of experience.

I’m also very much looking forward to the first presentation of the seminar—“How to Develop Business and Keep Clients”—where I will moderate a panel of in-house counsel and an insurance professional to discuss what they look for in selecting counsel, what they like, what they don’t like, and most importantly, what makes them look for new counsel.

So submit your seminar registration, book your flight and hotel, and get ready for a few days filled with fantastic presentations, great networking, and maybe even a lucky roulette spin or two. Additionally, if you are an insurance professional, please contact me to learn how you might be able to register for the seminar for free as my guest!

Hope to see you in Vegas!
